A Flower Garden of a Rag RugSOLD

This rug was woven with a strong yellow cotton string warp, which united the  cloth strips together in a warm and generous fashion. There is blue,  mauve, and  greens  in the cotton cloth strips as well as various yellows. I find the combination very satisfying.  This is one of my favourites. I used some vintage cotton sheets with a flower pattern and found they  set the tone.  Hand knotted string fringes extend the life of the rug.  Size 23/61 inches,  59/155 cm including fringes. Machine washable in cold water, line or rack dry.
